SYNOPSIS:
As part of the Library of Congress’s Gershwin Prize for Popular Song which was awarded to Paul Simon on May 22, 2007, Philip Glass performed his arrangement of Simon’s famous song “The Sound of Silence.” The performance, including the Glass piece, was broadcast nationally on PBS.
