Together with Native American singer Pura Fé, musical phenomenon and descendant of the Tuscarora tribe, the orchestra goes in search of the beauty of Native American culture.
Of course the music of the Philip Glass should not be missed. The famous American composer is one of the founders of minimal music. This style of music is overwhelming in its simplicity with trance-inducing rhythms and intoxicating repetitions. Whether you listen to music by Philip Glass, Arvo Pärt or Max Richter, the effect is relaxing and meditative.
His iconic film score Koyaanisqatsi , being edited for the Blazers, runs like a thread through the program. The two musical landscapes flow together like a river, with live projections by the young visual artist Vincent Rang.
