SUMMARY:Seoul\, Korea (The Cocteau Trilogy)
DESCRIPTION:https://m.lgart.com/product/en/performance/252942 Description Philip Glass: Cocteau Trilogy by Katia and Marielle Labèque Katia and Marielle Labèque are France’s most celebrated piano duo\, often hailed as “living legends.” After releasing their first recording before the age of twenty\, the sisters went on to redefine the landscape of duo piano performance\, traversing genres from Bach and Mozart to jazz\, pop\, rock\, and minimalism. They have captivated tens of thousands of listeners at landmark events such as the Berlin Philharmonic’s Waldbühne Gala Concert and the Vienna Philharmonic’s Summer Night Concert at Schönbrunn Palace. In 2015\, the Concerto for Two Pianos\, written especially for them by Philip Glass\, received widespread acclaim at its premiere with the Los Angeles Philharmonic under the baton of Gustavo Dudamel. Now in their seventies\, the Labèque sisters continue to travel the world and embark on new projects\, reaffirming their status as one of the defining piano duos of our time. For the upcoming performance\, they present three two-piano suites by Philip Glass from his operas based on Jean Cocteau’s works\, specially arranged for the duo and set against a dreamy scenography centered around a stunning chandelier.  \n2026.04.26 \nLG SIGNATURE Hall \nTime \nSun 5pm \n8+ (born in 2019 or earlier) \nDuration \n2h with one interval \nPrice \nVIP 120\,000 / R 90\,000 / S 70\,000 / A 50\,000 \n Katia and Marielle Labèque\, piano \nCyril Teste\, artistic direction
