COMMISSION:
Commissioned by the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra for the 200th commemorating the bicentennial of the War of 1812.

PREMIERE:
Simultaneous premiere on June 17, 2012 by the Baltimore Symphony at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore and the Toronto Symphony at David Pecaut Square in Toronto as part of the Luminato festival.
