It is always a pleasure to be with Phelim McDermott. He brings with him new ways of working and looking and listening. Our new piece together Tao of Glass is an exceptionally enjoyable one, as I was with him during meetings with Maurice Sendak which then became the origins of our new collaboration.
It is a work full of highly original theater and which gave me inspiring material that quickly and easily became the source of the music.
