The award is given to the recording’s conductor, Karen Kamensek; stars J’Nai Bridges, Anthony Roth Costanzo, Zachary James, and Dísella Lárusdóttir; producer David Frost; The Metropolitan Opera Orchestra; and The Metropolitan Opera Chorus.
