Philip Glass playing Metamorphosis No.4 on BBC Late Night, many moons ago. I'd guess that this predates the études, meaning this would be sometime between 1988 after The Thin Blue Line was composed and 1994 when the first set of Etudes appeared.

I attended a solo piano concert of Glass’ in Dublin, June 2010 that featured his Metamorphosis 1-4.
Was he playing in London
at the time of that BBC Late Night programme as well?
