"Einstein" opened at BAM on Friday ngiht. I will save my review for another time. In the meantime, one of the iconic images of Einstein is "Building" in Act IV. The opera ran from 7:00PM until 11:30PM sharp. I was in Bed by 12:30 and on the road at 7AM. So as I drove up Manhattan's West Side Highway in the early morning Saturday, I looked to my left and saw the exhaust and service building for the Holland Tunnel between New York and New Jersey. Nine hours after the end of the piece, the opera was still haunting me.
