All of this is fantastic news. I can only wish that in addition to all of this someone would take advantage of all of the stagings “Fall of the House of Usher” and would do a proper recording of that too.
I had the privilege of attending opening night of the Portland Orphée and they announced that OMM should be releasing the recording in the spring. Although the acoustics were poor where I was sitting, it is clear that this is a wonderful opera with the lovely, passionate music typical of the Cocteau trilogy and with very fast-paced action. The climactic scene of the Princess’s sacrifice was thrilling. I, for one, will await the release of the recording with great anticipation.

I second that on “Usher”….that is an awesome work, and one of my favorites!
