Godfrey Reggio and Philip Glass make a film together only once every decade, so yesterday's news that Reggio's new film will finally premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 8th is a very exciting development. On top of this, Glass' orchestral score that was recorded in Linz under Dennis Russell Davies with the Bruckner Orchester Linz, will be performed LIVE at the premiere by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra under Michael Riesman.
Variety, amongst others, picked up the story yesterday.

When Visitors gets a UK premiere, it should also be performed with a live orchestra.
Riesman is very good with the live film screenings.
