Last Thursday I attended a dress rehearsal for the upcoming Public Theater's production of Euripedes's The Bacchae.  I'll reserve my positive comments until the show premieres, but the score by Glass is cool and creepy.

At a separate music only rehearsal on Friday, the composer supervises a section of the underscore. Mick Rossi (right) is the music director.  The play runs August 11-30th in Central Park in New York.
