On July 20th, The Sony Opera House Collection will be re-releasing the old (and thus far only) recording of Satyagraha. It's not exactly timely since there were about a million requests for the recording following the Met Opera and English National Opera performances. I am complaining, but better late than never with its return to the ENO this upcoming season. Here it is at Amazon.

And what a fantastic recording it is too. My next hope is that the ENO/Met production is filmed for release on DVD, so we can forget that horrible, horrible Stuttgart DVD once and for all. Please please please oh please.
